This is an ongoing declassification program.
A February 19 directive initiated a government-wide effort to find, review, declassify, and publish UAP-related records. The first public PURSUE tranche followed on May 8.
Documented government record · updated October 23, 2026
PURSUE is a rolling federal archive of declassified and historical UAP records. It matters because the records, investigations, and witness reports are now part of the public record. That is not the same thing as proof that an unresolved object was extraterrestrial.
The reading rule
When we mark one of these entries as a documented real-world event, we mean the agency record, release, investigation, or witness report is documented. We are not upgrading every description inside that record into an established fact about what the object was.
The key things
A February 19 directive initiated a government-wide effort to find, review, declassify, and publish UAP-related records. The first public PURSUE tranche followed on May 8.
The Department describes a review involving dozens of agencies and tens of millions of records, including material that exists only on paper and spans many decades.
PURSUE says unresolved cases are those for which the government cannot make a definitive determination. Insufficient data can be one reason.
The release cadence now stretches from May through October 2026. The seventh tranche adds 28 documents and keeps the rolling program active.
Two records worth slowing down for
An AARO case-analysis update records reports from six federal law- enforcement special agents working in separate pairs near a sensitive western-U.S. national-security site. The agents described related orange and red aerial phenomena over two days. The case remained unresolved when the analysis was released in June 2026.
Read DOW-UAP-D077 ↗An AARO memorandum records two federal special agents and a corroborating third official describing a triangular object that rose vertically, remained stationary, banked, and descended into a canyon. They reported no associated audible signature. A later ground search found no visible debris or impact evidence in the accessible area.
AARO says the incident warrants further investigation. The memorandum does not make a conclusive finding about the nature or origin of the reported object.

The shared timeline can place documented disclosure milestones beside sourced channeler predictions and contact claims. Similar timing is worth noticing. It is not, by itself, proof of causation, authenticity, or extraterrestrial origin.
